Wai Beach Restaurant

The Thailand blogs begin here… Look away now if you cannot handle it! ;)
After two weeks of being very lazy and enjoying our Thai honeymoon I have finally managed to write up a few blogs.
We went looking for this place after reading trip advisor for ages, we hadn’t yet got our bearings in Patong and the sheer choice of restaurants was defeating us. Wai was recommended.
We hit the jackpot here, this place was hard to find because the signs above the restaurant say one thing, and trip advisor and the menus say Wai, but we found it.
Could you get a better setting?
Right on the sand with the waves crashing a few feet away.
Watermelon juice. I live on this stuff when I am in Asia.
We ordered the classics.
Chicken satay, okay not strictly Thai but one of my favourite snacks.
Heart shaped rice, cute!
Beef Masaman, this was delicious. Perfect with nice small pieces of beef.
The Husband ordered a Pad Thai…
And a papaya salad, his favourite meal of all time. He is a very happy man in Thailand.
After we had eaten they brought our western mouths some fruit to calm our mouths and help us to move. We had eaten a lot of food.
The best thing about Wai? Theur beer glasses. I seriously want one.
Wai, Patong, Phuket, Thailand
You can find it at the end of the beach strip furthest away from the big hotels, right near The Nap.
